God's hangout place on the weekend...

I wish I was still in Canada.

Spending the past four days in a very special place, also known as Malibu Club in the depths of Princess Louisa Inlet in British Columbia, gave me the opportunity to realize once again the importance of escaping from the busy world to find what really matters most - "to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ." -- Ephesians 3.18

Being surrounded by God's endless beauty was unfathomable and on the last morning as I was walking out of FOS'CLE at 7am, I stopped to watch the seagulls screech and wake up the world. God is so much bigger than I can wrap my head around. And that is one reason why He's such a mystery. I've come to the conclusion that because of that mystery, there is a unfinished search to discover the unconditional love and free willing grace He has given me.

During one point in the long weekend, the fact that God can love me no more and no less than what He does right now gave me such a cool, reminding spurt of encouragement - diving into His word in order to get to know Him better will not make Him love me more, but it will help me to learn to love Him more, and with that, go forth and make fishers of men with more confidence and a better understanding.

I am incredibly blessed to have had this opportunity to serve for a portion of my break in order to ready camp for the many campers who will be able to experience God's presence like no other place in the world. They will be changed for their lives because of the special impact Malibu has on people. I'm stoked for all the campers, staff, interns, summer staffs, and workcrew who will soak in what God has ready for them this summer at Malibu Club.
